An after thought

Most of us out there do seem to be worry warts. How we deal with our worries is al so individual. Some might shove it away, an out of sight out of mind kind of thing, but I find it helps to try to rationalize it.

There's always someone out there, who's a lot worse of and compared to most of the world I've got an easy life.
But alas this doesn't always work of course.. :)

A lot of the time is wasted on worrying about things you can't do anything about and years ago that wasn't any different for me and that's why someone gave me a poem/verse he wrote about it. This poem has always stuck in my mind.
The person who gave it to me can't remember writing it, so or he's very forgetful or it's a rip off, either way I find it very helpful.

Weathermen tell us information
about things we can't change
And grasping at the non changeable
is out of human range
So why waste your time worrying
about things already set
You're placing your time
on a losing bet

    Hi - Hi! We're your Weather Girls - Ah-huh -
And have we got news for you - You better listen!
Get ready, all you lonely girls
and leave those umbrellas at home. - Alright! -

Humidity is rising - Barometer's getting low
According to all sources, the street's the place to go
Cause tonight for the first time
    Just about half-past ten
For the first time in history
    It's gonna start raining men.

It's Raining Men! Hallelujah! - It's Raining Men! Amen!
I'm gonna go out to run and let myself get
    Absolutely soaking wet!
    It's Raining Men! Hallelujah!
    It's Raining Men! Every Specimen!
    Tall, blonde, dark and lean
Rough and tough and strong and mean

God bless Mother Nature, she's a single woman too
She took off to heaven and she did what she had to do
She taught every angel to rearrange the sky
So that each and every woman could find her perfect guy
It's Raining Men! Hallelujah! - It's Raining Men! Amen!
    It's Raining Men! Hallelujah!
    It's Raining Men! Ame---------nnnn!

I feel stormy weather / Moving in about to begin
Hear the thunder / Don't you lose your head
Rip off the roof and stay in bed

God bless Mother Nature, she's a single woman too
She took off to heaven and she did what she had to do
She taught every angel to rearrange the sky
So that each and every woman could find her perfect guy
    It's Raining Men! Yeah!

Humidity is rising - Barometer's getting low
According to all sources, the street's the place to go
Cause tonight for the first time
    Just about half-past ten
For the first time in history
    It's gonna start raining men.

It's Raining Men! Hallelujah! - It's Raining Men! Amen!
It's Raining Men! Hallelujah! - It's Raining Men!

I don't know about being a worry wart, but I sure as hell am worrying about this worrying wart on the soul of my right foot.

In fact, I would imagine I had atheletes foot. But, let's be honest, the chances of me catching anything athletic are pretty slim. Unlike my waist line.

Is there something wrong with Blogger, or are you posting from Easy Island??
This post only showed up today on my computer?

But it's a good poem though. Need to keep it. Need to know which forgetfull one wrote it. :)
